Feel the

To many, the thought of an aura, or a coloured field of energy outside the body, is simply beyond comprehension, and so is dismissed as 'New Age', or abnormal. However, using Kirilian photography, it is now possible to photograph the aura, ( mine's shown on the left ).

Whether one can see a person's aura or not, it is usually possible to feel it, by letting the hands drift sensitively close to the body. It needs a little practice, but most people can do it!

Dr Usui taught aura healing as part of Reiki. It is first necessary to Scan the aura to assess areas of strength and weakness. The weakness may be due to physical, emotional, mental or spiritual trauma which has resulted in a negative ionic charge in the aura. If left unhealed it will move inwards to manifest itself in the weakest physical point of the individual, ( a damaged joint, or a genetic cancer for example )

The Aura

As you start to scan, move a hand gently down in front of your body, about nine inches away, only scan when you are holding your breath, as the forces are so light, you could easily confuse a breath for a reaction.

The first thing to notice are the Chakras. If you are lightly bringing you hand down, without force, you should notice that at certain points the hand naturally moves out, and then, about 3-4 centimeters later, back in, as each chakras is encountered.

Now scan again, and again, as you go you may find a spot where your hand tingles, or feels hot, or cold, vibrates, or shakes. Go for the place where the reaction is the strongest. If you are administering Reiki to someone else DO NOT tell them what you have found, simply use Reiki to heal the irregularity. The reason is that your 'find' may conflict with a medical doctors diagnosis, and confuse the patient.

Check the area where you found the strongest reaction at least twice to ensure that no external factors influenced your decision. Give Reiki to that area, and then recheck, and repeat until no unusual reaction is noticed.

Lastly..practise!! On people, plants, and mostly on YOURSELF!! ( 40 minutes per day is recommended ).
